PH Black Epic's Noreen

True Black, 850003, 1/8 Chilean, 7/8 Peruvian

Both Noreen’s maternal grand dam and her dam are ribbon winners. Her sire, P. Black Epic, is a seven-time Color Champion.

Noreen displays a grand presence and is very friendly. In her first show, the 2004 North American Alpaca Show, at just over six months old Noreen took a fourth as the youngest in a very large class. She was a real attention-getter, both in the ring and in her pen, with her extremely lustrous, fine yet dense, black bold-crimped fleece. She went on to take a 3rd Place at the All American Alpaca Futurity and then, with great pride, a Blue Ribbon at the 2004 MaPaca Jubilee, the largest alpaca show in the country to date.

Noreen's 2006 cria, PH Navigator's Bliss, is a stunning dark gray female who has already ribboned in every show she's entered this past spring (2007) including first place at the North American Show (Level V). Bliss' dense fleece has the same outstanding characteristics of both her dam and sire.

El Numero Uno de los Negros
    True Black, 835794, Full Chilean

Uno, "the number one black" out of Alpacas de la Patagonia's premier black, Sinopsis Nocturna (multiple Blue Ribbon winner with AFD=21.4 at 4 years!), began his show ring experience with a bang. He brought home a Blue Ribbon from the 2003 MAPACA Jubilee and a Blue Ribbon and Color Champion from the 2004 Big E. At the 2004 MAPACA Jubilee, Uno's bold and lustrous fleece took a Blue Ribbon and Color Championship. His half brother, also true black, placed first in 2 major shows and his grey half sister, who we previously owned, is a multiple Blue Ribbon winner and Reserve Champion.

Uno's 2006 crias have hit the ground and they look great!

Starting in 2007, arrangements are available for limited breedings AT YOUR FARM for New England and eastern New York breeders. Contact us for more information. Drive-by breedings at Maple View Farm are still available.

Ice hit the ground running at 22 pounds! His fleece has a handle that's hard to find in a dark animal and we find it difficult to keep our hands off of his beautiful blanket.

Both his sire and his dam contribute to this handsome boy's gentle personality and stunning presence. His genetics include P. Felix who packs on the fleece, multiple black champion, P. Black Epic and the renown true black Patagonia herd sire, Sinopsis Nocturna, producer of many, many winning offspring.

We look forward to seeing what Black Ice will produce for us & our clients!
