Mimosa is a high frequency crimped Chilean import. At 10 years of age, she has a micron of 23.2 and a curve measurement of 43.4! She feels like a burbur carpet!

A true alpha female, Mimosa is an excellent mother not only for her own cria, but also for all the herd cria.

Compact in size with a regal head and stance, she is one of our original foundation females and has a beautiful face with long eyelashes.

Macho Negro, "Macho", came to us from Chile though he clearly shows the lock pattern of Bolivia, courtesy of his sire's herd. His fiber is lustrous and has a silky, smooth hand. He frequently passes this fiber type on to his cria, so that our breeding clients often come back again and again to use Macho on their females, as his "last year's" crias sell so fast!

We now have several years of Macho's crias on the ground. He regularly darkens the dam's color, producing black cria even by fawn dams. He's also produced silver grey, maroon and vicuna-patterned brown.

Macho has a proud head with fat cork-screw locks in his topknot. His leg fiber mimics the same lock pattern. His crimp pattern is fine, high frequency, and consistent throughout his blanket. He is average size with goo
