Snowpuff is just that--like a puff of snow! She is a big boned girl with solid conformation. In full fleece, she looks like her fleece is never ending! She could use a bit more density, so that is a consideration for her in breeding decisions. Snowpuff is even tempered and even pregnancy does not seem to change her gentle, easy going personality. Even our vet has commented that she is one of the easiest adult alpacas she has worked with. Snowpuff's first two cria arrived with no complications and she took to her role as a mother beautifully. Plenty of milk and lots of caring for her crias. She is rebred and due fall of 2008 Snowpuff is full Peruvian and 1/2 Accoyo. She is out of 6Peruvian Accoyo Powerball.

LondonDairy Alpacas was fortanate to have purchased this incredible male as an addition to their breeding program and for greater selection to their clients. Royal Star is an extraordinarily dense alpaca, evident in all
Snowy River is a bundle of curious energy whose white fleece has seemed to radiate since her birth. Her dam is our own Chase Tavern Snowpuff who is one of the easiest going females we have ever seen and whose heritage includes Peruvian Accoyo Powerball. Her sire was Snowmass Royal Star whose heritage includes Bueno and Hemingway. Snowy has definitly inherited her mother's easy going ways. With genetics like these, this girl should be spectacular. As she has grown, she is showing more and more of her mother's great personality. Her fleece seems to be keeping it's luster. Snowy is very inquisitive and sweet. She is also as easy to handle as her mother. She was anxious to breed last fall. However she was still on the small side, so we felt it would be safer to wait to breed her until the spring. She gave birth to her 1st cria--a white female-- in June 2011. And this is out of a a brown male, Hobby Horse Peruvian Whirlaway. Her daughter, Snowbound, is the spitting image of her mother. As Snowbound matures, it has become harder and harder to tell the two apart! Snow Creek is offered with a breeding to any of our males. She is anxious to have another cria and show again what a good mother she is.
