RRA Fidel's Juno

White, 823197, Full Peruvian

Juno has the dense, crimpy fleece of Fidel, and the smaller stature of her striking pinto dam. She has a perfect bite, good conformation, and nice fine, dense, crimpy fiber with great regrowth. An easy breeder, Juno has had textbook deliveries with her first four crias, Dom Perignon, a handsome solid fawn male who is the farm favorite, Peaches 'N Cream, her pretty pinto daughter, a striking MF son from Royal Peruvian Challenger, Maverick, and last October Juno had a striking pinto boy sired by our Mr Sundance Kid! He is the bomb, fiber so bright that he glows in the dark, and curly and SO CUTE! These crias gain a pound a day for the first few weeks! We could not improve upon Juno's qualifications as a breeder- one breeding, and an easy delivery every time. It's been fun breeding her for colored offspring (we love pintos!,) but Juno can produce white when bred to white. Her daughter Peaches just had her first cria, and is another easy breeder and excellent mother.

  Mr. Sundance Kid
    Medium Brown, 826016, Full Peruvian

A grandson of Accoyo Leon and son of a solid dark rose gray dam, Sundance carries great genetic promise. He has solid, correct conformation, heavy bone, and tremendously dense, crimpy, lustrous fleece, in a gorgeous medium red brown. Sundance's fiber has a very soft hand, and is getting a little finer every year! His face shows his dam's color, dark rose gray, which we hope to see in his offspring. His son, Cinnabar, is turning into an indeterminate dark rose gray now that he has been shorn!

Sundance's first cria is here, Sunset Fields Sundancer, from our own Amber Rose. Born 6/1/05, she's gorgeous- crimpy, lustrous, correct, and the same color as her sire. Healthy and vigorous, Sundancer's IgG was 2,900. She sold as a weanling.
His second cria is a handsome pinto boy born to RRA Fidel's Juno- he has absolutely stunning fleece, and perfect conformation and bite. Third cria is another Sundance clone, without the markings. Sundance is consistantly passing along his

Schoodic has beautiful curly, fine, bright fleece. This is the second time we've done this breeding, since it turned out so nicely last year! Schoodic has several markings on his face, one on his tail/rump, and a spot on his left shoulder. I think the spot on the shoulder will put him in a patterned alpaca class. This guy is well proportioned with good bone, a perfect bite, and he's well covered- I think you'll agree that he has really nice character to his fine, heavy crimp, bundling blanket.

Now that Schoodic has been shorn, we have discovered more small spots appearing on his head, shoulder and rump. Looks like he's turning into an appaloosa! Ask us for a sample of his gorgeous fleece- it is fine as can be- we had to use a cria comb on his second fleece too! His dam Juno is our best breeder, and his sire, Mr Sundance Kid, is part Accoyo with unbelievably dense, crimpy, soft fleece.
Come and take a look at Schoodic- he is a sweet boy, and should be in someone's showstring!
