Rubia is still producing beautiful crias at 17 years old. She is the mother of many georgous Accoyo and part Accoyo offspring.
LFA Accoyo Belmonte
White, 829580, Peruvian
Belmonte's reputation as a superior herdsire is well known. He won the prestigious "Spirit of the Industry" award in 2007 along with many top fleece and confirmation awards. He is an Accoyo alpaca with which we are proud to be aligned.
Bellisima is 1/2 Accoyo, the daughter of Belmonte, and grandaughter of Torbio. Bella has correct conformation, gorgeous luster, locked fiber regrowth, and is also a beautifully proportioned female. Her fiber is exactly what we are breeding for high luster, very fine, consistent, locked, cool handle, dense. Her fleece is one of Mary Lou Clingan's favorites. The Accoyo genetics are very evident in her. Even at six years of age, her micron count was still 23.9.
On June 16th, 2008, Bella had a beautiful son, Belmonte's Crown Phoenix, who is a fantastic combination of Torbio and Crown Royale bloodlines. With continued quality breedings like this, her offspring should remain in the most competitive show rings annually. He has consistently been in the ribbons in the very competitive world of white suri alpacas.
She was bred to a grandson of Kahuna and McGuyver, Chakota of CCR, and had a son on May 25, 2011. He weighed 23.4 pounds and we named him Turbulent Spring, (Turbo). Chakota, his sire, has proven to be two time Dark Suri Herdsire of the Year! He has adds tremendous lock structure, density, bone structure and luster to his offspring -just like his grandad, Kahuna, 2010 Herdsire of the Year. His offspring are now proving themselves in the showring by winning blue ribbons with many going on to color championships.
