Carissa. Her name means 'beloved' and she is indeed. Soft (14 micron!!!!!), buttery bundles of jeweled fiber decorate her perfect little body. She used to enjoy a daily neck and cheek rub UNTIL SHE GOT PREGNANT!

Her first two times in the show ring resulted in blue ribbons AND reserve championships. Both judges said she would have done BETTER (better!) if she had been better behaved. Carissa simply does not enjoy the show ring. Her fleece alone will be bringing home her ribbons and bring home the ribbons she does (LOTS of PURPLE)!!! THREE TIMES she has been the CHAMPION and the HIGHEST SCORING FLEECE in a fleece show!!! Good thing she looks good in PURPLE since she can now boast SEVEN PURPLES! Carissa has also won multiple JUDGE'S CHOICE awards. What a fantastic female!

In the 2008 Southern Select fleece show, Carissa was the white CHAMPION and Magical's super HERDSIRE OF THE YEAR Majestic Peruvian Jeremiah was the RESERVE - not the other way around!!!

This gorgeous full accoyo male has a fleece that will bring tears to your eyes. It is full of brightness, extreme crimp and buttery bundles. Julius is one of the most good-natured alpaca males we have ever seen. He is well-balanced and very handsome. Let this five time blue ribbon winning male sing to your ladies! Julius is passing along very strong fleece characteristics as well as allowing COLOR to pass through from the dam - even from black dams! Yes, Julius covers black! Breed him to your black girls!

Proud sire of many CHAMPION OFFSPRING! Another Julius' offspring has just taken a blue ribbon (1st out of 13). Check out Duncan (from a BLACK dam) owned by Nyala Farms. Check out Stonewall Jaxson who just won CHAMPION and THREE BLUE RIBBONS for First Place, BEST FLEECE in show and BEST CRIMP! Two more Julius offspring bring home the blue AND highest fleece score! Way to go, Julius!

Julius himself won first place out of 13 entries in the 2 and older group

Boy were we shocked when this extremely colorful full accoyo arrived. DARK medium fawn male with bright bundled crimp all the way down to his fetlocks! He actually has a couple of areas of VERY DARK BROWN fiber!!! We can hardly wait to shear this little creature in order to see the total depth of his coloring!! Holy Moley! Mattie, as he is known on the farm, was born two hours prior to an arctic blast which dropped our Southern December wind chill to a negative four!! He stayed bundled up in the barn with his mamma until the weather moderated. Now he happily terrorizes the other cria in his pasture. Growing like a weed, Mattie weighed in at 37.5 pounds at one month of age.

Mattie proudly joins the ranks of the very rare deeply colored accoyo males. His dam is a multi-champion accoyo and his sire produces them! We are very excited about this little accoyo's future.
