Payette River Medicine 3/4 Accoyo

White, 817514 , Full Peruvian

Payette is Accoyo, sired by Accoyo Starbuck out of a Torbio daughter and she's full Peruvian. We believe that Payette is homozygous for the suri fleece type.

Her fleece has high luster and uniform suri locks. She has strong, correct conformation with a perfect topline, straight legs and correct bite. She has a gorgeous, typey head with those beautiful Cleopatra eyes. Payette has a history of easy births and plenty of milk, as well as being an attentive mother.

As a proven dam, Payette is an outstanding addition to our herd. Please see her fiber stats to get a better understanding of how foundation dams can still produce excellent fiber. Bred to an Inca grandson, we predict Payette's 2010 cria could be of stud quality if male. But then, you might get a girl....

Payette is priced to sell only because we've been blessed with an abundance of female crias. There is nothing wrong with this girl! This offering is a golden opportunity for you.

  Tieton River Medicine
    White, 833261, Full Peruvian

LUSTER, LOCKS, FINENESS, DENSITY, HANDLE & COLOR!!! Is there anything else you want from a herdsire? Tieton's first cria, Madison River Medicine, has impressed the judges with her luster, fineness and handle. His second cria, Santiam River Medicine, is gracing the pastures of Suri Futures in Cave Junction, OR. And wait until you see what he is giving us this year. Watch for Jefferson River Medicine and Aniak River Medicine as the 2008 show season begins.

Tieton is so lustrous that in his first showing the judge thought we had enhanced his fleece. Nothing could be farther from the truth! This lustrous white Macho carries all the traits of his famous sire, Pperuvian Inca. Our shearer, an accomplished hand spinner, couldn't say enough about this male with incredible lock and luster. We have sold his fleece to local hand spinners and included it in our own spinning of lace-weight yarns.

Tieton is an eager, yet gentle breeder.

Santiam is a truly lovely young macho from Lori Rist of River Medicine Suri Alpacas in Idaho. His dam Payette is 3/4 Accoyo and a first rate dam, a strong producer and a good example of the perfect robust suri.

Santiam is sired by Tieton River Medicine, an Inca son who has done great things for Lori's breeding program. Santiam turned 3 years old in July 09. With his high luster and perfect conformation, he'll be starting his breeding career in Spring 2010 to prove himself as a stud.

We're very excited to add this young stud to list of breeding males. His genetics and fleece characteristics compliment many of the girls in our program. We're learning how to breed suri alpacas for fine, uniform, high luster suri silk, and this boy has all the right credentials!

This introductory price on his breeding fee is to help you find some affordable, high-quality breedings to a homozygous suri stud. This means we guarantee all Santiam crias will be suri alpacas, or you get a free rebreeding to any of our studs.
