WGA Royal Black Velvet

True Black, 1/4 Chilean, 3/4 Peruvian

Royal Black Velvet is aptly named. She is a lovely lady with velvet-soft fleece. She carries herself proudly and has good conformation, excellent coverage, nice straight legs, and good bite. She comes from a background of extraordinary genetic heritage (grand daughter of Dom Lucilio and daughter of CPeruvian Axtion Jackson, who carries a depth of solid black color in his lineage.
Velvet produced a lovely true black girl last year for us--Helena--from the union of our silver gray herdsire, BSF Chilton. This year she has given us another girl, a lovely dark silver gray out of our gray herdsire, Eduardo. We plan to repeat this breeding for a fall 1009 cria.

  BSF Eduardo
Medium Rose Grey, 1436259, 1/2 Chilean, 1/2 Peruvian

Eduardo is very special. He is the first male cria that Calypsa produced for us and he is undoubtedly the best male our farm has ever produced. With his incredible genetics and soft crimpy fleece with an AFD of just 21.8 microns, great conformation and personality, he is a the best. He is a large and handsome male with an exquisite head, a calm and confident manner, and a easy-going disposition. Eduardo truly represents the epitome of all the characteristics that we are aiming for in our breeding program.

UPDATE: Eduardo now has five crias on the ground: three females and one male, all silver or rose gray.

Eduardo is co-owned with Wool & Gray Alpacas, where he resides from May until November. He will be standing at stud here from November through April.
Call Barb Nuessle or Yvette Kirilenko to reserve a breeding.

Inca Moon is one of the best gray females born on our farm in ten years of breeding. Eduardo has put his gray color stamp on this gorgeous girl. She has placed well in several shows including the NJ Classic and MAPACA. She is ready to breed and would make a great foundation gray female.
Her dam, WGA Royal Black Velvet, is true black and the product of a rainbow of colors and champions including Royal Fawn, Dom Lucilio, and CPeruvian Jaxon.
Her white face shines like a moon in a dark sky, hence her name, Inca Moon. She has the dark mascara eyes of Eduardo, light gray ears and a splash of tuxedo markings on the front of her neck. From her sire, she carries the powerful Peruvian genetics of Felix and Caligula as well as Patagonia’s Caballero Andante.
Inca Moon is ready to breed. We think she is the ideal choice for someone interested in a gray breeding program. She comes with a free breeding to any of our herdsires.
