This truly gorgeous 100% true black full Peruvian male just keeps getting better! A FIRST PLACE at AOBA Nationals in 2007! His fleece 'handle' is STILL soooo incredibly soft & silky even after TWELVE YEARS OF AGE!!! Rico has excellent presence, a slippery, silky fleece, an extremely handsome head and very strong bone. The girls love him and appreciate his heartfelt attention. Mr. Popularity!

His two younger sisters have taken first place at AOBA Nationals in 2003 & 2004 and now RICO HIMSELF took FIRST PLACE at AOBA Nationals in 2007 for his mature black fleece! WOW! StoneHedge Fiber Mill says his fiber is "THE BEST BLACK ALPACA FLEECE EVER!".

Rico has a rich, extremely soft, dense fleece with fantastic hand. His fleece produces the silkiest, shiniest yarns! Few true black males are producing black offspring at the consistency level that Rico is producing. Color, gorgeous head, strong bone and phenomenal hand are his trademark!

His crias are winning blue ribbons in the show ring including a true black blue ribbon winner at the 2005 AOBA National Spin Off (score 94.5 out of 100), a rose gray blue ribbon winner and a fawn offspring with a ribbon from the 2005 AOBA National fleece show in Utah! One of his daughters has taken TWO PURPLES!! Yes, First Kiss is now wearing the purple CHAMPION ribbon AND has just brought home the Reserve Champion banner!!!!!!! YES! Rico is producing CHAMPION offspring!

Rico's newest offspring is a true black daughter from a white dam!!!!!!!! No, wait... now it's a black daughter from a gray dam - the girls keep coming for our wonderful Rico! WOW!
