ALH Vortex's Veanna Sold!

Beautiful girl with lots of eye appeal. Her caramel colored fleece is dreamy. After shearing each year I cannot wait to get it shipped off to the mill to be turned into yarn. I have a thriving seasonal retail demand for items that are actually made from fleece from my herd and Veanna's will be all used for hat & mitten production here. Ready for breeding. Your hardest decision will be who to breed her to as any color would be nice. I personally would breed her to my Providence Laurent. He's produced Champions and his sire was a Champion producer.

  PHA Accoyo Vortex
    White, 30493223, Full Peruvian

PHA Accoyo Vortex is now owned 100% by ALPACA HEIGHTS! To celebrate we're offering reduced stud fees for the first 5 breedings of 2012. Contact Mary for more info or to request a fiber sample. We have several offspring here at the farm to evaluate as well.

We challenge you to find a herdsire whose first offspring average a micron of 18.07, SD 3.82, CV 21.34, CF 99.46. And no, they were not tested at birth, but rather all were 7 to 8 months of age and eating grain! All have extreme brightness, zipper crimp, fineness and density.

Here are the stats. Testing by Ian Watt.
