I like what this girl offers. She has quality written all over her thanks to the breeding behind her. Fantastic female with a bright future. I don't think you'll find this combo of genetics on very many farms but mine...namely Altiplano Gold, Accoyo Goldsmith, Accoyo Elite...I have sons of all these influential males in my herdsire row.

ALH Vortex's Ventura

White, 31707091, Full Peruvian

Update: Amazing female cria born to Ventura on 9/29/12! This is the first Vortex daughter from my farm to be bred to Providence Laurent and I think we hit a home run. Super cute, super fleece, beautiful straight legs and gaining rapidly!

Ventura has been wanting to be bred for months so I knew she would be an easy candidate when I was officially ready to breed her close to her 2 yr. birthday. She's bred to our fleece machine, Providence Laurent, and I think that combination will produce a very nice 1/2 Accoyo offspring next Fall with that bright, shiny, crimpy fleece we strive for.

The Spanish name Ventura means Good Fortune. I love the genetics behind this girl who is another example of the cross of the Altiplano Gold genetics with Accoyo Elite genetics. She's maturing into a true beauty and her fleece is characteristic of all the Vortex babies born so far...super bright, fine, crimpy with very good density. Plan a visit to the farm and see for yourself. We think

Update: Laurent daughter, Henna owned by Urban Dreams Farm, took 1st and COLOR CHAMPION at the recent Michigan International AlpacaFest in Oct. 2011!

Making a name for himself here in Michigan, this Accoyo's Goldsmith son is producing stunning offspring in all colors. Take a look at these recent stats from his 11 month old white son, Sonata...Micron 16.6, SD 3.7, CV 22.0, CF 100%.

Need more proof? OK, his true black son Nebulous (2010 Micron is 20!) took the Blue & Reserve at the Michigan Spring show, AND 2nd at the Level 5 Indiana Show. His gray son, Urban Cowboy took the Blue at the Michigan Spring show. His gray daughter, Silver Threads, took 2 Blues in 2 shows in 2009.

Laurent's import dam, PPPeruvian Finesse is the mother of multi-Champions, including the great Dom Lucilio.

Laurent's sire, Accoyo's Goldsmith, is also known for his multi-Champions in many colors.

Density, fineness, brightness, crimp, thick bone. His trademark.
