One of those rare, 1/2 Accoyo grays, Rose-Marquis is one that turns heads. Her full head and leg coverage is what you normally see in light colored animals. I showed her in just 2 shows here in Michigan, both times taking Blue, and a Color Champion. She has been a stellar mother to her crias and has been one of my best alpacas in all my years of breeding.
Michigan Int. Alpacafest, Sept. 2008, Blue & Color Champion fleece, Judge Diana Timmerman. "Good staple length for days growth, beautiful soft touch and uniform color." Scored 17.5 out of 20 for fineness & handle.
Michigan Alpaca Breeder's Show, May 2008, 1st out of 5, Judge Wade Gease. Liked her conformation, proper proportions, fleece architecture, staple length, density, softness, leg coverage.
