Aurora Farm Thunder Snow Sold!

"Thunder", as he is called on the farm, is a wonderful suri male already exhibiting a beautiful locked fleece and slick feel. We decided to blanket shear him this season to get that fiber really going and he is coming in nicely.

Thunder is the son of our Blast (see foundation) and Ann Shirley. He is very much like his father and we are hoping for good things from this boy both breeding and in the show ring.

Look for him at the fall shows this year - or come see for yourself.

CGA Ann Shirley

White, 187346, Full Bolivian

Ann is easy to handle and one of those friendly alpacas. She has a wonderful disposition and excellent mothering skills. Ann is a proven, attentive mother who gives birth without difficulty so don't let her age fool you.

Ann is a tall, big girl with solid bone, good structure and straight confirmation covered by a dense, soft, high luster fleece normally associated with quality Bolivians.

Ann Shirley has thrown color as evidenced by her dark fawn 2006 cria, Farback's Enzo Ferrari and our lovely rose gray appaloosa girl in 2010. Ann produced a male cria for 2011 who is also a rose gray.

Ann just produced a beautiful male cria we call Thunder sired by our Blast. He was born July 11th and already has that great fleece we had anticipated from this combination.

  WRAR Peruvian Arctic Blast
    White, 823339, Peruvian

We lost Blast in the winter of 2014. Thanks for your contribution to our breeding program.

Blast is a full Peruvian, 1/2 Accoyo, high luster, male with award winning parents. His fiber has that slick quality which he is producing in his crias the majority of which have been girls.

His sire is Peruvian Baccarat (Accoyo) winner of Get of Sire, 2001 MAPACA Jubilee and 2001 PA Breeder's Choice Shows. His dam is 3Peruvian Gypsy Moon winner of Produce of Dam at the 2001 MAPACA Jubilee and 2001 PA Breeder's Choice Shows.

Blast has proven his ability to pass on his high luster locks with that much sought after "greasy" feel to his crias fiber. Blast has also thrown color when bred to color.

Introduce fine, high luster, locked, fiber into your herd from winning Peruvian / Accoyo blood lines!
