About Sunflower Alpaca Farm

Image is being processed by AN Sunflower Alpaca farm is located southeast of Fort Scott, in Bourbon County, Kansas. We feel that we have stepped into the future, or maybe the ancient past, although alpacas were domesticated by the Inca’s 5000 years ago, we see them as the fiber of our future.
We brought alpaca’s into our life in 2003 after at least a year of research and farm visits. I encourage you to do the same, however the learning will never end. We have learned so much, yet there is so much more to know. What fun! We have not met any alpaca breeder that was not eager to help, and I would hope you will feel the same about us. Come visit, meet our girls and boys and join us in growing the fiber of your future.
