Posted - 08/15/2014 : 8:45:37 PM Well, those of you who know me and know how dedicated to the fiber end of the alpaca business probably wondered why I sort of fell of the edge of the earth a couple of years ago. Long story short: broken back and kidney failure definitely put a crimp in my style. I now have rods in my back and a catheter in my abdomen. Doubt I will ever have the same energy, but am still very interested in all things alpaca. Hope to get to one or two of the Midwest shows this year. We'll see how things go. I really miss being in the middle of things.
