Is anyone else getting today's date showing under Last Post, but when the topic is opened the last post was actually several days before today's date? It doesn't occur with every thread, yet happens often enough to me that I wondered whether it was just my computer.

Look at http://alpacanation.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=6510
I did that to show you how it happens.
I edited my post from a few days ago, so now it shows the last post just happened.

So you're the one! I just read that post on the way to this one and was ready to kick in the screen because it had happened again.

Thanks. At least it isn't my computer. Now if I could just figure out why Vista shoves everything to the left and prints words on top of each other......

They have control of your computer. They control the vertical and the horizontal hold.
Any attempt to change the way Vista works will be an illegal operation. It will crash.
You will see the blue screen of death.
You've entered... The Vista Zone

Do I need to put on my tin foil hat?

Just a foil hat? Aren't you supposed to foil your whole roof

Another thing Rick mentioned awhile ago is if you go to the subject page

http://www.alpacanation.com/forum/forum.asp?FORUM_ID=10

you will notice a little arrow next to the name of the last person who posted. If you click that arrow it will take you to the post, where ever it is - at the end, or an edited one inside the thread.

Thanks, Heidi. I remember that post of Rick's. Well, I do now that you have mentioned it. I'll go put tin foil on the roof. At least that will keep me out of the inbreeding/linebreeding discussion.

Ah hah! I thought I was the only one going nuts trying to figure out why the last person posting didn't match the last post...thanks for clearing this all up! Like Nancy, I can reserve the tinfoil to block my urge to type what I really think of the linebreeding topics.

Y'all can run, but you can not hide.
The truth is out there.
