We had our first new cria in 3 years today. She is a beautiful dark fawn or light brown. I had forgotten just how cute they are. We are calling her Caprica's Corina. She is a Zeke baby. We still have 3 or four more coming. They are all late. I guess it's because we had such a hard winter.

Congratulations Robin! It's that sweet time of the year when new life abounds on the farm, and we have the pleasure of not only welcoming babies, but seeing the results of our breeding decisions. That's always fun.

Congratulations Ard! Like you, we didn't have crias last year and I just can't wait for this years to begin arriving! Our first is due later this month to a first-timer, followed by another first-timer who was herself born after 370 days gestation... so we're hoping that she hasn't inherited this because we can't possibly wait that long again! Also, this is the first time we have used our own studs so we can't wait to see what magic they have made with our gorgeous girls!

Hope all goes well for your next arrivals, keep us posted!

We had 3 more today: a beautiful maroon boy and 2 black girls. 2 of the crias are from our rose gray foundation male who died last fall. We are so pleased he gave us more babies before he passed.
