We had the cutest cria 2 days ago. I looked at him and told my husband that he looked just like Zeke. The dam wasn't bred to Zeke, but I knew it had to be Zeke's. Then I had one of those Oh, duh moments and remembered that Zeke was the dam's father. Wow. You could really see grandpa, even in the movements. It was just really fun to see this happen.

I know- we acquired the granddaughter of our first girl- she has a bullseye on her butt as part of her pattern- the same marking her uncle has!
She is the cutest pinto, and such a genetic throwback that it tickles me...

And so does this fine summer morning!
